We are hiring a Sanitation Associate for a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Escondido, CA , paying $19.00 per hour . This role performs deep cleaning, sanitization, and pan-washing duties in a commercial bakery/food manufacturing environment while following established safety and food sanitation procedures. Responsibilities Wash, dry, and store bakery pans, trays, utensils, and related equipment. Deep clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas. Operate pan-wash equipment and safely handle cleaning chemicals. Follow established SSOPs, SOPs, GMP, food safety, and SQF requirements. Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment. Wear required PPE and promptly report safety, equipment, or sanitation concerns. Requirements Reliable with good attendance and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good manual dexterity and ability to work efficiently at production speed. Previous sanitation, food production, bakery, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs , stand for 10+ hours , perform repetitive cleaning tasks, and frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and twist. Must be comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, machinery, wet surfaces, and varying hot and cold temperatures.
