About the Role We're building the crew for a new government cleaning contract at a federal facility in Glendora , starting September 1 . This is a W-2 position (not 1099). Because this is a government site, all staff must pass a federal background check and fingerprinting (security/PIV clearance) before working on-site. We're hiring a commercial cleaner to service client facilities. If you have janitorial experience, take pride in a job well done, and are dependable, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize assigned commercial spaces after business hours Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Clean and restock restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, paper/soap supplies) Empty trash and recycling Dust and wipe down surfaces Clean break rooms and common areas Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Follow cleaning checklists and safety procedures Report any maintenance or safety issues Responsibilities Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, and common areas Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors Clean and restock restrooms (toilets, sinks, mirrors, paper/soap supplies) Empty trash and recycling Dust and wipe down surfaces; clean glass and windows Periodic deep cleaning and floor care (strip/wax, carpet shampoo, window washing) on a weekly, quarterly, and semi-annual schedule Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely Follow cleaning checklists and safety procedures; report maintenance/safety issues Requirements Prior janitorial/cleaning experience required Must pass a federal background check and fingerprinting / security clearance (PIV) before performing on-site work Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Dependable transportation to the Glendora site Able to perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting) Bilingual English/Spanish Must be able to start by September 1 Must be able to pick up uniform and sign onboarding paperwork at the main office in Commerce if hired
