The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining fresh ice for skaters and also cleanliness within our facilities. This position requires a proactive approach to custodial tasks, ensuring that all areas are kept clean and presentable for both staff and visitors. We need an opener for Saturday and Sunday at 6am for both Aliso Viejo Ice Palace and Lake Forest Ice Palace. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial spaces, including office, restrooms, and common areas. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively. Conduct regular inspections of the facility and Zamboni to identify areas needing attention or maintenance. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishments as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness. Skills Zamboni/heavy machinery experience is preferred but not required. Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively.
