The BDCP maintenance crew, known as the Cleanup Crew, will sweep sidewalks and gutters daily, remove graffiti as reported, and pressure wash as needed, all for the purpose of building-up the reputation of the Ballpark District in Downtown San Diego as a family-friendly, clean, safe, and well-maintained destination. To this end, the BDCP is seeking highly qualified candidates who will be working within the public rights-of-way performing a host of duties with other crew members. This is a long-term position which provides room for increased growth as our budget and district grows. Individuals applying for this position must have pressure washing experience, strong professional references, must have a clean and professional appearance, must be able to work during the week as well as weekends, must have a clean and current driver's license, and work well with others. BDCP Maintenance Ambassador/Cleanup Crew Job Details:

- $21.95/per hour to start - Medical/Dental benefits, sick pay, holiday pay, vacation (PTO) pay available after a 60-day probationary period.

Qualifications/Scope of work:

Must possess a strong understanding of heavy pressure washing equipment and the ability to operate heavy pressure washing equipment Must possess a strong understanding of reclaiming gray water and the ability to efficiently execute reclaiming practices Must have a good driving record Be fluent in English Be able to walk / be on their feet for 8 hours Be able to lift up to 50lbs per occurrence Must be available for a flexible schedule including weekends Must have good communication skills and be a team player Must have good personal hygiene and must be presentable to the public Must be able to work independently with little oversight Must have a solid work ethic and be willing to give constructive feedback to management Must be proficient/familiar with iPhone interface and/or app-enabled devices

Preferred Skills:

Experience and/or expertise in pressure washing operation and equipment maintenance Knowledge of Downtown San Diego preferable Resident of Downtown San Diego preferable Good work references (at least 3) :
