Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces throughout the facility Handle chemical agents safely according to established safety protocols and proper handling procedures Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to maintain floors and surfaces in pristine condition Conduct heavy lifting and manual handling of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices Maintain sanitation standards in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas by replenishing supplies and ensuring hygiene compliance Assist with custodial tasks related to facilities maintenance, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues for resolution Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents or injuries during cleaning operations Qualifications Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, custodial equipment, and chemical handling safety procedures Ability to operate floor buffers and perform floor care including buffing and polishing Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with staff or visitors Familiarity with sanitation standards and facilities maintenance procedures Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Join our team if you're energetic about creating clean, safe spaces!
