What they do

A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

This job works primarily under limited supervision, reporting major activities directly to the site supervisor. Duties and Responsibilities The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this job. Administration may assign additional job-related duties as necessary. Basic knowledge of bowling. Provide bowling guests with efficient and courteous customer service. Manage the utilization/scheduling of lanes and equipment to ensure efficient control of customer flow. Provide bowling shoes and assign lanes to customers. Escort guest to their lane and assist with lane set-up. Perform daily cleaning of pinsetters, balls and auto-scoring equipment; report any maintenance needs to supervisor. Operate and reset the automated pinsetter and digital scoring equipment. Clean bowling lanes, gutters and ball return areas. Follow safety procedures of equipment operation and use of cleaning solutions. Monitor bowling facility, and the public areas for cleanliness and appearance on a daily basis. Manage daily financial transactions. Work nights, weekends, holidays and special events when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned Must be 21+ to apply
