A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Position Overview The Cleaner / Janitorial Associate supports the Milford retail location by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the warehouse, restrooms, break rooms, and office areas. This role is essential to providing a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for both employees and customers. Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize restrooms Sweep, mop, and maintain store floors Keep store aisles neat, clean, and free of debris Maintain cleanliness of break rooms and office areas Empty trash and recycling Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed Ensure parking lot and customer entrances are clean Use cleaning products and equipment safely and properly Follow company safety procedures and standards Perform other general cleaning and janitorial duties as assigned Must Have Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods Nice to Have Previous janitorial or cleaning experience Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and equipment Schedule and Availability Part-time position 4-hour shifts, 5 days per week 12pm availability preferred; schedule flexibility may be discussed
