Summary Tri-Glo is hiring a full-time employee to maintain the cleanliness at a local detoxification center. The facility houses individuals who are working through detox, and it is imperative that the hired individual pass a DCF Level 2 background check and random drug tests due to the nature of the business conducted at the facility. Day Porter responsibilities include cleaning the following: Lobby, offices, group room, cafeteria, restrooms, showers, all hallways, and client bedrooms. Sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, dusting, and trash removal. Hard floor maintenance, to include operating an auto scrubber and buffer. This is a day porter position, so employee will be required to be on site 7 hrs a day 5 days a week, working around and with the current clientele and detox employees. Employee will be working at this location unaccompanied by Tri-Glo employees. The employee is a representative of Tri-Glo and is expected to always maintain a professional demeanor. Employee will be provided with a Tri- Glo shirt and all the PPE, cleaning equipment, and necessary chemicals to complete the job. Training will also be provided. Employee will be working at this location Clearwater, Fl 33760 Pay is $15/hr., with paid holidays. PTO is accumulated after one year of employment. As a Day Porter for Tri-Glo, Inc., you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in your assigned facility. This role is vital to ensuring a welcoming environment for our clients and contributes to our mission of delivering industry leading janitorial services. Responsibilities Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are kept clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Assist with floor care activities such as buffing and waxing as needed. Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Monitor facility cleanliness throughout the day and address any issues immediately. Support the team with special projects or deep cleaning tasks as assigned. Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively is critical. Familiarity with floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing is a plus. Basic knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is beneficial but not required. Good communication skills to interact with staff and clients.
