Position Summary:

The EVS Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within assigned areas. This role supports infection control standards, workplace safety, and overall operational efficiency by ensuring all spaces are properly cleaned, disinfected, and maintained according to company and healthcare guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including production floors, offices, restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and common areas. Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and infection control protocols. Properly use and store cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in compliance with safety guidelines. Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company policy. Refill supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizer as needed. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to a supervisor promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Adhere to all Bay Linen safety, quality, and operational policies.

Qualifications:

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends or holidays if required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required. #INDSW
