Duties and Responsibilities Adhere to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines regarding safety regulations and best practices when utilizing cleaning equipment, handling chemicals, and disposing of various types of waste Be able to follow written and verbal instructions with precision Maintain professional standards of conduct and teamwork Complete annual educational requirements within the assigned time frame. Maintain regulatory requirements, including all state, federal and Joint Commission regulations related to the department and, as appropriate, to the hospital. Clean, disinfect, and restock patient rooms, common areas, and specialty areas following infection control standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment
