Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of dining spaces, kitchens, restrooms, and entryways using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents Handle custodial tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and floor buffing to ensure surfaces are spotless and safe Operate commercial cleaning tools including floor buffers and scrubbers to maintain high-quality floor care standards Follow safety protocols for chemical handling and manual handling to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or sanitation issues and report them promptly Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces by adhering to sanitation procedures consistent with health regulations Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed to support overall facility upkeep Experience Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings preferred Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers required Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures essential for safe use of cleaning agents Experience with heavy lifting and safe lifting practices necessary for moving supplies or equipment Customer service skills beneficial for interacting professionally with staff or visitors when needed Background in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning advantageous but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work efficiently during early morning hours This role offers an energetic environment where your efforts directly impact the cleanliness and safety of our establishment.
