Janitor / Custodian - Day Shift (Part-Time)
Daily hours: 4-6 hours per dayJanitor / Custodian ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize restrooms, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, emptying trash, and refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper dailyPerform weekly detailed restroom cleaning, including toilet bases and stall wallsEmpty trash in office areas dailyPerform floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, and waxing as neededUse personal protective equipment correctly, including safety glasses and glovesFollow customer requirements and understand the importance of quality standardsActively support workplace safety by attending safety meetings, participating in safety walks, audits, and improvement initiativesReport unsafe conditions and assist with incident investigations and safety documentationShow initiative, accept new responsibilities, and work well with othersAttend required training sessionsRequirements for the Janitor / CustodianAbility to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with othersAbility to lift 20-50 lbs. occasionally and 10-25 lbs. frequentlyWillingness to follow all safety rules and proceduresPenmac Staffing offers weekly pay, along with health, dental, and vision insurance options.
