Machines Engineer position open The following anticipated assignment is open:

Staley High School Machines Engineer Hours:

9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Tuesday - Friday. 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Saturday. The Human Resources Department will post internal available custodial openings on the district home page. You must complete the internal application to be considered for this vacancy. The machine engineer position consists of the daily upkeep and care of mechanical equipment in the building plant. This includes changing HVAC filters, lubrication of equipment, maintaining the boiler room and maintaining service logs on equipment. A small cleaning run will be assigned to the machine engineer. Outside building care including snow removal and the upkeep of the school grounds is a very important part of this job. Persons applying for this position must have good attendance record, practice good safety procedures, motivated, responsible, a good performance record and is able to keep this building to the standards expected by the North Kansas City School District. The machine engineer will be under the direct supervision of the Facility Manager, Nick Tanner, the Building Administrator, Dr. Barry Crilley, Athletic Director, Brandon McCoy and the Director of Custodial Services, Doris Farage. This position will be open through Friday, October 2, 2026
