In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Your efforts will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, supporting the health and safety of staff, visitors, and clients alike. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment Conduct routine floor care procedures such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a polished appearance Handle industrial cleaning tasks in specialized areas requiring heavy-duty cleaning techniques Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and restock materials as needed to ensure continuous cleanliness operations Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring safety standards are met Operate cleaning machinery such as floor buffers and extractors safely and efficiently Support with porter duties such as moving furniture or equipment to facilitate cleaning or maintenance activities Qualifications Proven experience in custodial work or janitorial services, preferably within commercial or residential settings Knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care procedures, and use of cleaning equipment like buffers and vacuums Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or painting is a plus Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in creating a clean, safe, and inviting environment!
