Schedule and Location Requirements Tuesday AND Friday, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m ONLY. (4 hours per week) $17/hour This schedule is not flexible . Applicants must be available to work every Tuesday AND Friday Candidates must also live within approximately a 7-10 mile radius of downtown Matthews to ensure reliable and timely attendance. Please do not apply unless you meet both the schedule and location requirements. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, dedicated, and detail-oriented Janitor/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and professional appearance of a corporate office facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This position requires someone who can work independently, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and remain attentive to the facility's cleaning needs throughout the shift. Responsibilities Clean and maintain restrooms, kitchens, breakrooms, offices, conference rooms, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash from designated areas. Restock restroom and breakroom supplies as needed. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, countertops, and shared equipment. Monitor common areas throughout the shift and address spills, trash, and other cleaning needs promptly. Perform basic floor care and operate approved cleaning equipment. Use cleaning products, supplies, and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when additional supplies are needed. Follow all company safety procedures and facility cleaning standards. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to management. Qualifications Previous janitorial, custodial, or day porter experience is preferred. Experience cleaning corporate offices or commercial facilities is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision. Dependable transportation and a consistent record of punctuality and attendance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, proactive, and committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming workplace.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
