About us Facilitycare Taker Job Posting Location Rochester, NH (In person) Position Type Full-Time Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with occasional evenings and weekends for floor refinishing and special projects. Pay $21.00-$25.00 per hour (based on experience) Reports To Director of Facilities About Monarch School of New England Monarch School of New England is a private, non-profit school, serving students with significant special needs located in Rochester, NH. Position Summary Provides cleaning and janitorial services for an assigned building Monday - Friday 9 AM - 5 PM with additional weekend hours as needed for floor refinishing. Essential Responsibilities Daily Responsibilities Empty waste and recycling containers throughout the building. Transport trash to designated dumpster locations. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout classrooms, offices, hallways, kitchens, and common areas. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and fixtures. Refill restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Clean interior glass and entrance doors. Disinfect high-touch surfaces including door handles, railings, and switches. Secure windows and exterior doors at the end of each shift. Turn off lights and arm the security alarm before leaving. Weekly Responsibilities Monitor cleaning supply inventory. Submit supply requests to the Operations Manager as needed. Periodic Responsibilities Perform deep cleaning of classrooms, offices, staff rooms, and common areas. Wash walls, cabinets, woodwork, vents, and remove cobwebs. Strip, wax, and refinish tile floors on a rotating schedule. Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of custodial, janitorial, or commercial cleaning experience. Experience operating floor care equipment and performing floor refinishing preferred. Valid driver's license. Acceptable driving record. Ability to successfully complete required background checks.
