08/28/2026 The Spencerport School District is currently accepting applications for a Custodian at Cosgrove Middle School. Candidates must be eligible for appointment as Custodian, as per the rules and regulations of the Monroe County Department of Human Resources and Civil Service. Applicants must be fingerprinted and cleared for employment for the NYS Education Department before employment begins.

Civil Service:

Competitive, no exam is currently required per the Monroe County HELP program. New hires will be appointed on a permanent basis.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum one (1) year experience in building cleaning and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications :

Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience

Appointment:

Full-Time, 12 months.

Work Week:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm•

Salary/Rate of Pay:

Starting at $18.89 per hour, based on experience; plus $650 building stipend and $400 supervisor stipends.
