Assumption Parish Maintenance Crew -

School and Church Position Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time Hours:

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (up to 40 hours/week; part-time schedule flexible)

Primary Function:

Work with the maintenance crew to provide clean, healthy school and church buildings and grounds, following all compliance standards, and alerting the supervisor, business manager, or pastor to potential maintenance issues as they arise.

Specific Responsibilities School:

Sweep and mop floors, hallways, and stairwells Clean and sanitize restrooms; remove trash Clean entrances, including glass doors and door frames Remove trash from classrooms Clean cafeteria and kitchen floors, tables, and chairs Inspect buildings for cleanliness and maintenance issues Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies

Church:

Clean and mop floors Vacuum throughout the building

School & Church Grounds:

Lawn care (mowing, weeding, seeding, etc.) Snow removal from walkways and stairs

General Duties:

Set up and take down tables and chairs for events Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently Ability to lift, push, and/or move cleaning equipment Successful completion of background check Completion of Safety of Children training prior to employment

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
