Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Staff Members to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing a safe and nurturing environment for their growth and development. Shift 2:30pm - 6:30pm Monday - Friday No Weekends, No Holidays Position Overview The Floater/Cleaner/Cook supports the center by assisting in classrooms, maintaining a clean environment, and preparing simple, child‑friendly meals. This role is perfect for someone dependable, flexible, and comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed. Key Responsibilities Support teachers in classrooms as needed (break coverage, transitions, supervision) Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas Complete daily cleaning tasks such as sanitizing surfaces, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal Prepare and serve meals/snacks following center menus and safety guidelines Follow all licensing, health, and safety procedures Communicate effectively with staff and leadership Help create a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for children and families Qualifications Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask Comfortable working in a fast‑paced childcare setting Basic kitchen and cleaning skills Ability to lift, bend, and move throughout the center Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed What We Offer Supportive team environment Consistent schedule Competitive pay based on experience
