Building Janitor (twice per week part-time) Full Job Description Goodwill Industries of NW Ohio has and immediate opening for a part-time building janitor for the HURON County ODOT Garage located in Norwalk, Ohio. Good work ethic necessary. Must be self-motivated, work well alone as well as on teams and show capacity to perform other duties as assigned by management. Now Hiring.

Minimum Education/Training:

• Must be 18 years of age and possess a H.

S. diploma or GED equivalent. Able to read, understand, and follow written instructions, and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.

Minimum Work Experience:

None required.

Pre-employment Requirements:

Able to pass a criminal background check.

Physical Effort Required:

Ability to lift, carry and maneuver objects weighing up to 15+ lbs.

• Ability to use sweeping motions to use an upright broom and a push broom.
• Able to use a 16 - 24 ounce wet mop.
• Able to push and pull a vacuum cleaner.
• Able to stand, stoop, kneel and reach.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for removing and disposing of trash and liter.
• Responsible for sweeping and mopping floors.
• Responsible for vacuuming carpet.
• Responsible for cleaning customer areas and restrooms.

Assists in maintaining a safe environment for all staff, and guests through visual inspection of interior areas during shift.

Life Insurance Job Type:

Part-time, scheduled 4 hours every Tuesdays and Thursdays (can arrange other days with approval).

Schedule:

Shift generally begins after 3:45pm as selected by Manager & caretaker.

Work Location:

1 account 4 hours every Tuesday and Thursday at Huron County Garage 760

Dublin Road, Norwalk, Ohio Shift Hours:

after 3:45 p.m. to service one account as specified above for the allotted time.

Pay:

$18.50 per hour. Direct Deposit or Cash Card Pay options. Bi-weekly paycheck.
