Job Description

Industrial Cleaner Location:
Urbana, Ohio Shift:
2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
Pay Rate:
$18.00 / hour
Position Type:
Full-time (Resume required) Job Summary We are seeking a safety-minded and reliable Industrial Cleaner to join our team in Urbana, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for the deep cleaning, sanitation, and general maintenance of our manufacturing plant. This position is vital to ensuring a safe, orderly, and productive environment for our entire operations team. It is an ideal fit for individuals who take pride in meticulous work and excel in a dynamic industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities Facility Maintenance:
Clean and maintain all designated plant areas, ensuring compliance with facility cleanliness standards.
Production Line Sanitation:
Thoroughly clean and sanitize production lines and manufacturing machinery during downtime.
Waste Management:
Empty, clean, and maintain plant disposal systems, including both indoor and outside trash cans.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate industrial floor scrubbers, vacuums, and other specialized cleaning machinery.
High-Level Cleaning:
Access hard-to-reach areas of the plant, which requires regularly climbing stairs and ladders. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
License:
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
Safety First:
Must demonstrate a strong sense of safety and strictly adhere to industrial safety regulations, chemical handling rules, and PPE requirements.
Physical Ability:
Comfortable with physical labor, including walking, bending, standing for an entire shift, and climbing ladders/stairs.
