A Janitor or Cleaner provides cleaning and basic maintenance in buildings such as schools, offices, stores, hospitals or hotels. Cleans and polishes floors, removes trash, vacuums carpets, washes windows, cleans bathrooms, stocks building supplies such as light bulbs and paper towels and performs minor repairs as needed. Holds keys for rooms and building entrances and locks or unlocks them as needed.

Job Description

Woodhaven Recovery is a supportive, structured residential program for adolescent boys in recovery. We are currently hiring a dependable and compassionate Overnight Supervisor to help maintain safety, cleanliness, and support during overnight hours. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, observant, and committed to supporting youth in a recovery setting. Position Overview Part-time Overnight Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety of residents while also completing regular cleaning and organizational tasks throughout the night. This role plays an important part in keeping our program running smoothly and maintaining a peaceful, supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Remain awake and alert during the entire shift Monitor residents and the property to ensure safety and security Respond appropriately to any resident needs or concerns during the night Complete nightly cleaning tasks (e.g., bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, laundry) Restock food and beverage items for resident access Perform basic organizational tasks (e.g., sorting supplies, resetting spaces, restocking inventory) Complete written shift reports Communicate effectively with staff on other shifts to ensure continuity of care Qualifications Experience with adolescents or in residential care is a plus Ability to remain calm, alert, and consistent overnight Comfortable completing cleaning and organizational responsibilities Reliable, observant, and respectful of confidentiality Individuals with diverse experiences and backgrounds are encouraged to apply Why Join Woodhaven?
