Assignment:
District Wide
•location and hours to be determined as district needs.
Function:
Directly responds to the Director of Operations and the building principal for providing services which will afford students a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, and develop. 1. Assumes responsibility for general security of the building. 2. Assumes responsibility for the general fire safety of the building. 3. Responsible for all general cleaning and maintenance of his/her job station. 4. Performs cleaning services as necessary. 5. Assists in snow removal. 6. Requisitions and receives cleaning supplies and equipment, and maintains necessary inventories. 7. Generally supervises and maintains the school grounds. 8. Cleans and maintains all tools and equipment. 9.
Daily:
Sweeps floors, empties waste paper baskets, dusts ledges, windowsills, bookcases, cleans glass partitions, sinks, lavatories and water fountains. 10. Washes, waxes and seals floors according to prescribed procedures and schedules. 11. Performs other general related tasks as may be assigned. This is a day to day, on call position.
