Firewatch/Janitor - Maintenance We are seeking a dedicated Firewatch/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and ensure safety standards at our facility. This role combines routine janitorial duties with firewatch attendant responsibilities to ensure a secure and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform cleaning of restrooms, common areas, and workspaces. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to keep areas hazard-free. Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly. Monitor for fire hazards during and after hot work activities. Remain alert in designated areas to detect smoke, sparks, or unusual heat. Sound alarms and alert emergency services as needed if fire is detected. Ensure fire safety equipment is available and functional. Report unsafe conditions or maintenance needs promptly. Assist with restocking cleaning and safety supplies. Follow all health, safety, and PPE requirements during job tasks.

Requirements:

Previous janitorial or firewatch experience is a plus. Attention to detail and strong commitment to safety procedures. Able to use cleaning tools and fire safety equipment. Physically able to bend, lift, and stand for extended periods. Reliable, with effective communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible and varied schedules.
