Waters Condos Position Summary:
The Exterior Janitorial Team Member is a vital frontline role dedicated to maintaining the aesthetic beauty and sanitary safety of the Waters Condominiums. Tasked with the daily upkeep of buildings 2 through 9, this individual performs a comprehensive range of housekeeping services across all outdoor and common areas, including parking garages, pool decks, and residential corridors. This role requires a dependable, detail-oriented person who takes pride in creating a welcoming environment and is capable of executing physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Primary Daily Responsibilities Operating within a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM window, the Team Member executes a rigorous daily cleaning cycle designed to keep high-traffic areas pristine. Essential duties include blowing out and removing trash from garage floors and carports, sanitizing high-touch surfaces in pool and patio areas, and disinfecting elevator entryways and floors with professional-grade degreasers. The Team Member is also responsible for the critical management of waste, which includes emptying and replacing liners in all trash receptacles, cleaning chute rooms to prevent fire hazards, and ensuring that pool restrooms are restocked and scrubbed with germicidal cleaners to maintain resident health and safety. Specialized Maintenance and Floor Care. Beyond daily sanitation, the Team Member performs weekly and monthly maintenance tasks to preserve the property's long-term value. This includes the technical operation of equipment for power washing carport door facings, scrubbing corridor rugs, and high-dusting ceilings and walls in common areas. The role involves consistent floor care, such as mopping stairwells, cleaning elevator tracks, and performing soft washes on elevator landings. Additionally, the Team Member supports property functionality by performing daily lightbulb replacements in public areas and monitoring propane levels at grill stations to ensure amenities are always ready for resident use.Safety, Compliance, and Professionalism:
Adherence to safety protocols is a cornerstone of this position. The Team Member is responsible for the proper use of all provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and must follow strict guidelines for the storage of chemicals and equipment. This includes maintaining organized storage closets and ensuring that no materials are ever stored in restricted fire riser, fire alarm, or elevator rooms. As a representative of the service team, the Team Member must work cooperatively with the supervisor and the float team, maintaining a professional presence on-site and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the high standards outlined in the community's scope of services.
