We are seeking an Automotive Porter / Shop Assistant to support day-to-day operations at an Auto Repair Shop . This role is ideal for candidates with experience working in automotive shops, dealerships, parts stores, or warehouse environments . The selected candidate will help maintain a clean and organized shop, assist with parts runs and deliveries, support technicians, and provide excellent customer service when needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain cleanliness throughout the shop, office, restrooms, and common areas. Sweep floors, empty trash, and perform general light maintenance tasks. Assist technicians and staff with shop organization and daily operations. Pick up automotive parts, supplies, and complete local deliveries as needed. Keep the parking lot and outside areas clean and presentable. Help receive, organize, and stock incoming parts and materials. Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Support the team with additional tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record . Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision. Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Previous experience in an automotive shop, dealership, warehouse, or parts store is preferred . Experience with companies such as AutoZone, O'Reilly, NAPA, Advance Auto Parts, or similar environments is a plus. Familiarity with automotive parts , tools, and shop environments is preferred.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
