Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving supplies, equipment, or trash removal while adhering to safe lifting practices. Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning windows, walls, ceilings, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment. Operate custodial equipment including vacuums, floor buffers, and steam cleaners to enhance facility appearance. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or chemical hazards. Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or reporting issues requiring professional attention. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or concerns from staff or visitors. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation procedures, and chemical handling safety protocols. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices. Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and industrial cleaning tools. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours. Ability to follow safety instructions diligently and adhere to all safety regulations at all times.
