Job Description

Position Title:
Summer Cleaner for Short-Term Rentals at
Bear Lake, Utah Job Description Overview:
As a Summer Cleaner for our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a clean and comfortable environment during their stay. Your responsibilities will primarily involve cleaning and maintaining the property after each guest checks out, ensuring that it is ready for the next guest's arrival. Most days start at 9:30am and ends by 4pm. Plenty of time to play at the lake!
Responsibilities:
Cleaning and Sanitizing:
Perform thorough cleaning of all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and outdoor spaces. Ensure all surfaces are properly sanitized and free from dust, dirt, and debris.
Laundry Management:
Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other bedding items. Ensure that all linens are clean, fresh, and neatly arranged for the next guest's use.
Restocking Supplies:
Check and replenish essential supplies such as toiletries, paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning products. Ensure that all amenities are adequately stocked to meet guest needs.
Property Inspection:
Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance issues, damages, or areas requiring attention. Report any issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
Trash Removal:
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and order in trash disposal areas both inside and outside the property.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with the property manager or supervisor regarding the status of cleaning tasks, inventory levels, and any issues or concerns that may arise during your shift. Adherence to
Standards:
Adhere to established cleaning protocols, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery. Follow all safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Guest Interaction:
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests who may be present during cleaning activities. Address any guest inquiries or requests promptly and courteously.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is awesome, but we can train. Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed. Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Additional Information:
This is a seasonal position, specifically for the Summer months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Training will be provided to familiarize you with the property layout, cleaning procedures, and safety protocols.
