Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain optimal sanitation standards. Utilize commercial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocol guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting to support overall facilities upkeep. Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning supplies or equipment to prevent injury during manual handling activities. Support additional facilities maintenance duties as needed, including industrial cleaning or porter responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the premises. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings demonstrating familiarity with cleaning procedures and equipment. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, sanitation practices, and the proper use of cleaning chemicals with an emphasis on chemical agent handling safety procedures. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and moving supplies or equipment while following safe lifting practices.
