Columbia Basin Hospital is looking for a dependable, hardworking Custodian to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role is essential to the daily operations of our facility and contributes directly to the comfort and safety of everyone who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do:

Clean, strip, wax, and maintain facility floors and other high-traffic areas using proper techniques and equipment. Wash exterior windows and keep all areas spotless and inviting. Empty trash receptacles and replace liners to ensure a sanitary environment. Clean lighting fixtures, vents, doors, and other hard-to-reach areas. Maintain outdoor areas including parking lots, garbage collection points, and assist with snow removal as needed. Follow infection control standards and safety practices at all times. Demonstrate professionalism, respect, and confidentiality in all interactions. Attend department meetings and required trainings to stay current with safety and cleaning standards.

What We're Looking For:

High School graduate or equivalent Knowledge of common cleaning supplies and tools Basic computer skills Strong work ethic and attention to detail Knowledge of safe cleaning methods and infection control practices (training provided). A team player who takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable environment Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
