Job Description

Our client, a family-owned producer of healthy foods, is hiring a nighttime Sanitation Worker for its Kent, WA , location . Responsibilities for this role include cleaning walls, floors, overhead pipes, and drains within the department using established procedures. Industrial or manufacturing sanitation experience is preferred for this position. Will be trained and certified to follow sanitation procedures for proper chemical solution use and proper concentrations so that it is not harmful to workers or equipment.
The Day-to-Day:
Disassembles, washes, cleans, and sanitizes all production line equipment at the end of the production day to prevent cross-contamination of products. Washes all utensils used for processing and mixing of products. Checks cleaning records indicating frequency, duration, temperature, concentration, and use of final sanitizing products. Coordinates cleaning with maintenance & production for on-time production start-up.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 2 years of professional experience preferred Previous experience working on fishing vessels, in seafood processing operations, food production facilities, meat or poultry processing plants, or similar industrial environments. Experience with sanitation chemicals, GMPs, HACCP programs, and maintaining compliance with food safety requirements is highly preferred. Must have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Pay Rate:
$20.00 to $22.00 /hr
Schedule:
Night Shift 8:00 PM to 4:30
AM Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
