Position Overview:
Maug Cleaning, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cleaning Lead Technician for a night shift commercial cleaning route in the Osseo/Strum area. This position requires working independently as well as leading and supporting a teammate when applicable. Strong time management and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. This position may appeal to candidates with experience in janitorial, custodial, industrial, or commercial cleaning roles, especially those who are self-directed and thrive in structured environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning tasks following company standards Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas of a commercial setting Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cleaning protocols Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail Stay within the client's allotted time using time management skills Communicate effectively with teammates and management Maintain responsibility for client keys and facility security
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older Possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Previous cleaning, janitorial, or leadership experience preferred (but not required) Ability to learn, use, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies with skill and efficiency Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, bend, stoop, twist, and perform other motions required to complete the job Comfortable with continual walking and physical activity throughout the shift Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and cooperate professionally in a team environment
Wages and Benefits:
Starting wage: $17.00 per hour Paid orientation and one-on-one training Referral program Employees working 30+ hours per week are eligible for Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Aflac Supplemental Insurance, 401(k), and Earned PTO Employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for Dental and Vision Insurance, and Aflac Supplemental Insurance Benefit conditions: Waiting periods apply. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week do not qualify for benefits.
