Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and friendly Guest Service Member to join our team! In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in. Your responsibilities will include taking food orders, operating POS systems, maintaining a clean workspace, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food preparation, sales, and food safety while working in a lively, team-oriented setting. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with their food orders efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare simple food items according to established standards, ensuring quality and presentation Process cash and card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and retail sales transactions Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment to ensure sanitation standards are met Manage customer orders with professionalism, ensuring timely service and satisfaction Follow food safety guidelines, handle food properly, and adhere to sanitation protocols at all times Requirements Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active communication abilities Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently Basic math skills for processing payments and managing register operations Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in a food industry setting Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Previous retail or café experience is a plus but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn Join us at Princess Food and Deli where your energy helps create memorable experiences for our guests!
