In this role, you will be the friendly face at the front counter and assist in food preparation and kitchen operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using POS systems, explain menu items and make recommendations Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Restocking and organizing the front counter area Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols. Grilling chicken and assembling sandwiches Assist in food handling and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of food safety management. Support team members with food preparation, kitchen tasks, and ensuring a quick service environment for fast-paced restaurant operations. Qualifications Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred; culinary or café experience is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems for processing sales and customer orders. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times. Prior experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is advantageous but not required. Teamwork and flexibility are important, as everyone helps each other during busy periods.
