Kitchen Assistant / Prep & Packaging (Part-Time) KUKU Cafe Inglewood, CA Job Details Part-time $19 - $21 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Packing Moving Stocking Picking & packing Food Handler Certification Full Job Description KUKU is a small, fast-casual Persian takeout restaurant in Inglewood. We're hiring a part-time kitchen assistant to support daily service and prep. This is a hands-on role. You'll be moving, prepping, packing, cleaning, and helping food go out correctly and on time. What You'll Do Package pickup and delivery orders accurately Prep cold items and sides (dips, salads, desserts) Portion food into to-go containers (using scales when needed) Apply labels and stickers to cups, containers, and bags Prep simple drinks (cucumber-mint, lemonade, etc.) Keep prep and packaging areas clean and stocked Help with dishes, trash, and end-of-shift cleanup What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Comfortable working on your feet in a kitchen Can follow instructions and repeat tasks consistently Works clean and organized Can stay calm during busy periods Kitchen or food experience is a plus, but not required if you learn fast. This Job Is NOT A line cook position A management role A sit-around job You'll be busy. If that sounds good, you'll fit in.
