Description Job Overview The Kitchen Worker (Utility Staff) ensures cleanliness and organization in food and beverage areas. Responsibilities include deep cleaning equipment, preparing areas, organizing storage, and maintaining safety standards. They assist with receiving orders, manage trash disposal, and perform other duties as required to support departmental operations. Duties And Responsibilities Deep cleans all kitchen ovens, sinks, freezers, coolers, griddles and other dirty restaurant equipment. Prepares all food and beverage areas. Cleans walls, floors and ceilings. Cleans and organizes all storage areas including the main freezer, cooler and dry storage. Assists in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all food and beverage areas. Follows all safety guidelines and organizational policies. Knowledgeable of the MSDS book. May assist with receiving orders. Ensures that all trash cans are changed on a regular basis. All other duties as needed. Job Requirements (Please Ensure You Meet The Listed Requirements Prior To Applying) High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment Strong Food and Beverage product knowledge. Strong time management and organizational skills. Must work with chemicals. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Ability to stand for 8 hours. Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required Must have a Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment Complaints about the recruitment or selection process for employment should be directed in writing to office of the President and CEO of Wind Creek Hospitality.
