This position helps prepare menu items, maintain kitchen organization, and ensure food is produced efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and menu items according to established recipes. Assist cooks with daily food preparation and station setup. Maintain proper portion sizes, cooking procedures, and food presentation. Keep ingredients stocked and organized throughout the shift. Monitor food quality and communicate preparation needs to the kitchen team. Maintain clean and sanitary workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Follow food-safety and sanitation requirements. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products. Support the kitchen during busy lunch and dinner periods. Complete opening, closing, and cleanup duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen, culinary, or restaurant experience preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe kitchen practices. Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Able to stand for extended periods and handle physical kitchen tasks. Reliable and flexible with scheduling.
