This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a professional kitchen and wants to build experience in a fine-dining environment. Responsibilities Assist cooks with basic food preparation and ingredient setup. Wash, peel, cut, portion, and organize ingredients as directed. Keep kitchen stations stocked and ready for service. Maintain clean and orderly work areas throughout each shift. Help receive, store, label, and rotate food products. Clean kitchen tools, equipment, counters, and preparation areas. Assist with dishwashing and other back-of-house tasks when needed. Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace procedures. Support cooks and other kitchen staff during busy service periods. Complete opening, closing, and cleanup duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred but not required. Willingness to learn professional food-preparation practices. Reliable, organized, and comfortable working as part of a team. Able to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail. Comfortable standing for extended periods. Able to safely lift and carry kitchen supplies. Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
