Kitchen Lead
Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Lead to oversee daily kitchen operations in a lively, casual dining environment. This role involves managing food preparation, ensuring quality standards, and performing as a line cook. The Kitchen Lead will play a key role in maintaining efficient kitchen workflows and delivering excellent food experiences for our guests. This is a paid position that requires leadership, culinary skills, and a passion for delivering great customer service. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Prepare and cook menu items including burgers, seafood, tacos, steaks, and sandwiches with consistency and quality. Work on the line daily during service, ensuring timely and accurate food delivery. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to Kitchen Manager. Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive team environment. Uphold food safety standards and proper handling procedures at all times. Support the overall guest experience by ensuring dishes meet quality expectations. Requirements Proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preferably with casual dining or similar cuisine types. Strong culinary skills with the ability to prepare a variety of menu items efficiently. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage team members. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends. A passion for food, teamwork, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Pay:
