A Kitchen Staff assists with food preparation as directed by cooks, food supervisors or chefs. Cleans kitchen work areas and dishes. Prepares ingredients for dishes to be cooked, prepares beverages, and stocks salad bars or buffet tables.
Ossipee Concerned Citizens, your local nonprofit providing Meals on Wheels and Congregate Dining, is seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant for our Meals Program at our Ossipee site.

Hours:
Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm
Starting Pay:
$15/hr., negotiable with the right experience and profile

Position Duties:
Assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleanup in a timely manner Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently Keep the kitchen organized and clean Other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience:
Previous kitchen/dishwashing experience is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate. Previous non-profit experience, specifically in a nutritional program is also a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Driver's License is required. High School Diploma is preferred but not required. ServSafe Certification is preferred but not required. Must be willing to get certified within 3 months of employment. Works as a team player, and is willing to step up and help wherever needed. Positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., and bend/twist with no restrictions.
Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
