This is a hands-on, trainable kitchen position involving food preparation, assembly, plating, restocking, and operating commercial kitchen equipment. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train someone who is reliable, organized, willing to learn, and takes pride in keeping a clean workspace. You do not need to be a chef to apply. We're looking for people who can follow instructions, learn our menu and procedures, work efficiently, and become a dependable part of the team. Responsibilities Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and portion standards Perform basic food prep and ingredient setup Operate equipment including pizza ovens, convection ovens, microwaves, and steam tables Plate and finish dishes neatly and consistently Keep ingredients, supplies, and workstations stocked and organized Maintain a clean workstation throughout the shift Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Assist with dishes and general kitchen cleanup when needed Complete opening and closing responsibilities Work with the rest of the kitchen team to keep service moving efficiently What We're Looking For Reliable and punctual Clean, organized, and attentive to detail Willing to learn and take direction Able to follow recipes and instructions consistently Comfortable working around hot kitchen equipment Able to stay productive during both busy and slower periods Works well as part of a team Kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required Evening and weekend availability Reliable transportation to Edgewater, NJ Pay & Growth Starting pay: $16.00 per hour for team members who require training. Raises are available as employees gain experience, demonstrate reliability, learn the menu, and become able to handle their responsibilities independently. Experienced and dependable team members who become proficient in multiple areas of the kitchen may earn $18-$20 per hour , depending on experience, performance, and responsibilities.
