Job Summary We're looking for a motivated Salad Station Employee to join our kitchen crew and help us serve fresh, delicious salads with enthusiasm. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys food prep, working in a lively environment, and contributing to a team that values quality and efficiency. Overtime opportunities are available for those ready to step up and grow with us! Duties Prepare fresh salads according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in slicing vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients using proper knife skills and slicing techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the salad station, including sanitizing work surfaces and properly storing ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support meal preparation. Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and hygiene practices. Support the team during busy periods by helping with food prep and ensuring timely service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate salad assembly and ingredient availability. Skills Previous experience in food industry roles such as dietary aide, dietary department, or restaurant service is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety management and handling standards. Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation techniques. Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Excellent knife skills including slicing techniques for vegetables and fruits. Ability to work quickly while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Clear communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and team members.
