Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Manage food service customer orders from taking to fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accuracy. Assist with upselling menu items to boost sales and enhance the customer experience. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, food safety protocols, and proper kitchen equipment handling. Support retail sales transactions when applicable, including product recommendations and inventory management. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other appliances essential for food preparation. Ensure food safety management practices are followed at all times to uphold health standards. Contribute to a team environment by supporting colleagues during busy periods and sharing responsibilities. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, quick service & fast-food restaurant environments, or café settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks swiftly in a high-energy setting. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that creates positive interactions. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory counts. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
