We take pride in our ingredients, our craft, and our team. We're looking for a dedicated Kitchen Staff member to join our crew and help us deliver an exceptional dining experience every single day. As a Kitchen Staff member at Poke Square, you will play a key role in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining our high standards of quality and cleanliness. You'll work closely with the rest of our team to keep things running smoothly during busy service hours. Key Responsibilities Prepare and portion ingredients according to Poke Square's recipes and standards Assemble poke bowls and other menu items with speed and accuracy Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating food inventory properly Follow food safety and hygiene protocols in compliance with health regulations Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Adapt quickly during peak hours and high-volume rushes Qualifications & Requirements Prior experience working in a kitchen or food service environment is required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy work environment Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Food handler's certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain one) Flexible availability including weekends and holidays Pay starting at $21.30/hour
