Full-time (40 hours per week) About Us At Banning Stagecoach KOA Journey, our main goal is to create a clean, friendly, and memorable experience for travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. We are seeking a versatile Housekeeping & Office Assistant who can split their time between providing warm customer service in the front office and ensuring our park facilities and accommodations meet KOA's high cleanliness standards. Job Summary This hybrid role is perfect for a multi-talented individual who thrives in a varied work environment. You will spend part of your day welcoming guests, managing reservations, and supporting store sales, and another part ensuring our cabins, clubhouse, bathrooms, office, and common areas are spotless and ready for visitors.
Key Responsibilities Front Office & Customer Service:
Greet arriving campers with a friendly smile, process check-ins/check-outs, and assign sites. Answer phone calls, respond to reservation inquiries, and handle cash/credit card transactions using our reservation system. Assist guests with store purchases, local information, and general campground questions. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked front office and camp store.
Housekeeping & Sanitation:
Clean and sanitize KOA cabins/lodges between guest stays (making beds, sweeping/mopping, changing linens, wiping down surfaces). Perform routine deep cleaning and daily sanitation of public bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities. Maintain cleanliness and order in the park clubhouse, ensuring it remains welcoming for guest activities and events. Keep the main office and common employee spaces clean, organized, and trash-free. Restock supplies (paper towels, soap, toilet paper) across all guest facilities throughout the day. Report any maintenance needs, damaged property, or safety hazards to the maintenance team or manager.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years in customer service, retail, front desk operations, or professional housekeeping/cleaning services.
Computer Proficiency:
Ability to learn reservation software, use point-of-sale (POS) systems, and process payments accurately. Attention to
Detail:
Pride in keeping all areas—from office spaces to cabins and public restrooms—sparkling clean.
Interpersonal Skills:
Friendly, patient, and polite communication style with guests of all ages.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, walk across property, and lift up to 30 lbs. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor/indoor setting.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License. Background check required.
Schedule & Pay Hours:
Full-time (40 hours per week; requires weekend and holiday availability as these are peak travel times).
Pay Rate:
