Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, and floor polishers efficiently and safely. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and supplies to clean surfaces, floors, windows, and outdoor areas when necessary. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while maintaining professional conduct. Maintain organized cleaning schedules using time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed promptly. Conduct outdoor work when required, including patio or garden area cleaning or maintenance. Ensure all janitorial supplies are stocked and properly stored; report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages promptly. Experience Proven experience in residential housekeeping or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards. Familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment and methods for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation. Prior experience in laundry management including handling delicate fabrics and stain removal techniques. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper manual handling procedures for heavy lifting and outdoor work. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their needs. Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
