Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Maintain floor care by sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and applying appropriate treatments for different flooring types. Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper techniques to ensure safety. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Keep all cleaning surfaces and equipment well-maintained, organized, and sanitized for optimal performance. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or janitorial/custodial work is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently. Strong time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards. Physical ability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Excellent client communication skills with a friendly, professional attitude. Familiarity with cleaning products, detergents, and proper usage protocols to ensure safety and effectiveness.
