Duties Perform thorough cleaning of all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, stairwells, and common areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners efficiently to maintain spotless surfaces Conduct floor care tasks including vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and heavy lifting of furniture or equipment when necessary Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring restrooms are hygienic and well-stocked Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff Document completed tasks accurately in shift reports and communicate any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management Requirements Proven custodial or janitorial experience within a hospitality or industrial setting, with a strong focus on hotel housekeeping management preferred Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment and chemical agents Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team during evening hours Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality industry is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy makes a difference!
