In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across our facilities by performing laundry services, materials handling, and sanitation tasks. Your energy and commitment will ensure that all linens, and textiles are properly cleaned, cared for, and ready for use. Responsibilities Operate garment care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment to ensure textiles are thoroughly cleaned and properly maintained. Handle laundry materials with care, including sorting, loading, unloading, and folding linens, uniforms, and other textiles. Use push carts and other materials handling tools to transport laundry loads safely across the facility while adhering to manual handling safety protocols. Maintain sanitation standards by properly using laundry detergents, cleaning agents, and disinfectants in accordance with safety guidelines. Conduct routine inspections of laundry items for stains or damages; perform garment care procedures to preserve textile quality. Follow safety standards in production areas by adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, and material handling activities. Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely delivery of clean textiles and responding promptly to any special laundry requests or concerns. Qualifications Prior experience in cleaning or laundry services is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measuring detergents and managing inventory levels. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards relevant to textile cleaning operations. Familiarity with care machines such as industrial washers, dryers, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards safety protocol adherence and customer service excellence. Ability to communicate in English or Spanish is preferred.
