We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Houseman/Linen Runner to support our Housekeeping team in maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready resort units. This position assists with detailed cleaning of units, transportation of linens and supplies, laundry support, and delivery of housekeeping equipment and guest items.

What You'll Do Houseman Duties:

Perform detailed cleaning and preparation of checkout and check-in units. Sweep and scrub lanais and clean lanai furniture. Clean windows, screens, tracks, mirrors, light covers, ceiling fans, table fans, chandeliers, and other surfaces throughout assigned units. Clean kitchen areas, including mini-blinds, refrigerator tops, dryer tops, and kitchen walls. Clean entrance glass and exterior areas around unit entrances. Remove spider webs from lanais, entrances, and other areas as needed. Inspect units for spots, dust, marks, or other areas requiring additional cleaning. Perform general cleaning of units, including no-show and ready units. Shampoo carpets and clean upholstery as needed. Clean beds and furniture and assist with moving furniture when necessary. Rotate bed mattresses as assigned. Clean loft windows and screens. Assist Unit Cleaners with additional cleaning and preparation tasks. Complete other housekeeping duties as assigned. Linen Runner Duties Pick up and deliver linens, guest supplies, and housekeeping materials to individual units as needed. Deliver and retrieve housekeeping equipment, including vacuums, cleaning tools, rollaway beds, cribs, and other equipment. Assist with sorting and folding linens in the laundry area as directed by the Housekeeper. Secure and organize soiled linens in the designated laundry area. Deliver requested items and supplies to guest units. Collect soiled linens, trash, and excess supplies from units and dispose of trash in designated areas. Maintain organized and efficient delivery of housekeeping supplies and equipment. Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager What We're Looking For Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, or professional cleaning experience is preferred. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established housekeeping procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Reliable and dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies. Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize assigned tasks. Flexible availability, including the resort's major check-in days, Friday through Sunday, and holidays. Ability to reliably commute to the work location on Kauai is required.
